North Tahoe firefighters have a new boat to respond to emergencies on Lake Tahoe. The 25-foot SAFE boat debuted at Sand Harbor yesterday. They say it has GPS capabilities, sub-surface sonar search and rescue abilities, and improved radar and infrared cameras for night-time missions. The new boat was made possible through a donation from the Dave and Cheryl Duffield Foundation of Incline Village.
