A reminder – an excessive heat warning remains in effect for the Greater Reno area through Wednesday. Areas affected include Fernley, Fallon, Lovelock, Silver Springs, and Nixxon. Reno fire is urging you to drink plenty of water and seek out shade. Seniors and others who need to escape the heat can do so at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, Teglias Paradise Park, and the Neil Road Recreation Center.
