Sisolak signs bills into law to help veterans

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signs 11 bills into law–four that will help the state’s veterans. The measures establish a civilian transition program for military members that includes education, career training, and physical and mental health care. The bills also aim to address veteran suicide and homelessness, establish annual permits for state parks, and set up an adult day health care center at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks.
