Reno Man Faces Prison Time on Drug Charges

A Reno man faces as much as 40 years in prison for selling hundreds of phony oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl. Octavio Mendoza Jr., 24, pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to seven counts of fentanyl distribution and one count of possession of 40 grams or more of fentanyl with intent to distribute. He faces a minimum of five years in prison on all of the charges.
