North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee is running for governor. Lee switched his party affiliation last month from Democrat to Republican, saying the Democrat Party is moving toward socialism. He also called Governor Steve Sisolak’s agenda radical. Lee formerly served in the Nevada legislature. Carson Valley trauma surgeon and restaurateur Fred Simon is also running for the Republican nomination for governor.
