NV lawmakers consider telemedicine for vets and pets

We’ve all become accustomed to telemedicine due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now a new bill in the Assembly wants to legalize it for veterinarians. It would allow the practice for any vet who has an existing relationship with a customer and their pet. Advocates say the practice would be particularly helpful when an animal has a disease that could spread to humans and other pets. The bill passed in the Assembly and is awaiting a hearing in a Senate committee.
