CDC: NV woman among 6 to experience rare blood clot linked to J&J vaccine

A Nevada woman from Clark County was one of six women to suffer a rare blood clot after receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccination. The CDC says an 18-year-old suffered a blood clot in her brain and has not recovered. The other women who suffered the rare blood clots ranged in age from 26 to 48. The six clots were identified amid near seven million doses of the vaccine being administered, leading to a nationwide pause in usage of the single-shot vaccine.
