The Washoe County School Board leaves it up to middle and high school leaders to determine whether they want kids back in the classroom full-time. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports in a meeting that went well past midnight, board members voted 6-to-1 to keep hybrid instruction in place, but give districts the power to go back to five days of in-person learning-with restrictions in place. School bus capacity-which is a factor in their decisions-is currently at 66%.
