Starting Monday, Nevadans 16 and older with underlying health conditions are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Several moderate and high risk medical conditions are included in the designation like cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, and obesity. Those who fall into these groups are encouraged to schedule an appointment through a local pharmacy.

Nevada’s COVID-19 positivity rate has fallen below 5%. That’s a significant milestone in the state’s battle against COVID-19. New lane and ramp closures are expected this week in the Spaghetti Bowl construction zone. Work crews will have Vassar Street reduced to one lane in each direction between Harvard and Terminal ways through March 26th. Drivers should use Villanova Drive as a detour.
