Local pharmacies will be administering the vaccines to this group including at Smith’s, Walgreens and Walmart. Starting Monday, Nevadans 16 and older with underlying health conditions are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Several moderate and high risk medical conditions are included in the designation like cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, and obesity. Those who fall into these groups are encouraged to schedule an appointment through a local pharmacy.
Nevada’s COVID-19 positivity rate has fallen below 5%. That’s a significant milestone in the state’s battle against COVID-19.
