Authorities say a suspect in a Reno homicide was taken into custody over 200 miles away after a chase involving officers from multiple agencies. Snowpack at 65% of normal rate

Snowpack sits at 65% of normal. Hydrologists say the snow at Mount Rose isn’t as deep as it was a month ago. Truckee Meadows Water Authority called the situation “not ideal,” but also “not dire.” They say reservoirs are at 42% and they’re hopeful that storms in March will add to that.
