1 hospitalized after Reno motel fire

One person was hospitalized with minor burns after a fire at a Reno motel. Firefighters were called to Easy Inn Motel on 6th Street Sunday around lunchtime. The fire was contained to one room; the cause remains under investigation.

Person found unresponsive on Mt. Rose dies

A hiker finds a person unresponsive on Mt. Rose. Police were called to Tamarack Trailhead Saturday afternoon. They say the hiker tried to perform CPR, but the person was already dead. No word yet on the cause of death.
