Washoe County received its shipments of vaccine after winter storms across the country delayed shipments last week. Governor Steve Sisolak says the state is working overtime to get first and second doses out mas quickly as possible following the delay. As many as 11,000 seniors still need to be vaccinated in Washoe County. Just over 5% of Nevada’s population has been vaccinated.
