Test Positivity Rate Continues to Fall

The test positivity rate in Nevada started to fall in January, after a long streak of high COVID-19 transmission throughout the 2020 holiday season. In Washoe County, health officials say it’s also seeing a decline in cases as well. On Tuesday 41 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the county; the Washoe County Health District said that’s the lowest number of cases reported since early October. The fourteen day positivity rate now down to 17.1 percent.
