Recent Storm Helped

Our snowpack was in dire need of some help prior to last week’s storm. Then came the winter blast in the Sierra with some 5 to 7 feet of heavy snowfall. February 2, is the official mid point of winter so we needed an atmospheric river storm sooner than later. We’re in better shape now as our snowpack recovered quite nicely from near 50 percent of normal, to now closer to 80 percent.
