Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry returns to Virginia City

The 30th annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry is returning to Virginia City after COVID canceled last year’s event. It’s happening March 13th with COVID precautions switching things up a bit. Tickets are on-sale now and you must buy in advance. No walk-ups will be admitted.

Man killed in Sparks shooting identified

We now have the name of a man killed over the weekend in Sparks. Police say 25-year-old Vintell Johnson was shot to death on the 1800 block of El Rancho Drive Sunday night. No one’s been arrested yet.
