Washoe County adds two COVID-19 deaths and two dozen new cases. The latest deaths involve a woman in her 90s and a man in his 70s. Both had underlying conditions. The county also added more than 250 recoveries.
Nevada forges forward with plans to become the first state in the nation to hold a presidential primary. Assembly Bill 126 would shift the state’s caucus system to enable the state to hold the first presidential primary in the nation in 2024.
We now have the name of a man killed over the weekend in Sparks. Police say 25-year-old Vintell Johnson was shot to death on the 1800 block of El Rancho Drive Sunday night. No one’s been arrested yet.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a man wanted for stalking and burglary attempts. They say home surveillance captured the man in the act. Deputies say they have similar reports involving the man on the golf course at 50 Desert Lake Drive.
