Visitors are welcome once again at Renown Hospital as coronavirus cases decrease statewide. Visiting hours have been extended from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All patients can have up to two visitors, but it’s recommended they come one at a time.

The Sergeant in Arms for the Nevada Assembly has died from COVID-19. Robin Bates served the state for decades. News of his death came on just the second day of the new legislative session. The Assembly plans to hold a memorial for Bates later in the year.
The Reno Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night shooting near the Peppermill. Officers were called to the area of S. The site will also address disruptions to local food supply chains due to COVID-19.
In the Quad-County region, COVID-19 recoveries are outpacing deaths and new cases. The county added 189 recoveries and 17 new cases Monday. The area also saw one new death in a Lyon County woman in her 60s. Data from the last several days have shown similar trends.
