Condos proposed again for old Lakeridge Tennis club site

Hundreds of new condos could be coming to the old Lakeridge Tennis Club site in Reno. Developers submitted a proposal for eight four-story buildings with 314 condos, a clubhouse, and recreational facilities on the nine-acre site at Plumas Street and South McCarran Boulevard. That’s down from the 350 condos proposed six months ago.

Sparks police investigate attempted child kidnapping

Sparks Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted kidnapping. They say an older man wearing all black and a black face mask tried to get a 12-year-old child to get into his red, four-door sedan near Peppergrass Drive and Vista Boulevard yesterday. The child is safe.
