Washoe County adds two COVID-19 deaths for a total of 625. The latest deaths involve two men in their 80s with underlying health conditions. The county added 85 new cases and 479 recoveries Thursday. Meantime, in Clark County, they’ve identified the seventh case of the UK variant.
A Sun Valley man is arrested in connection with an attack on his girlfriend. Deputies say 22-year-old Imann Nat-Singh victimized his girlfriend for quite some time, hitting her with various objects. He faces felony domestic battery, strangulation, kidnapping, and child abuse charges.

A dog is dead and a person hospitalization after they were struck by a vehicle in Reno. It happened Wednesday morning on the I-80 off-ramp near Keystone Avenue. Police say the pedestrian was cited for not using a crosswalk.
Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies will be places you can get your COVID-19 vaccine. Ten locations in northern Nevada will get federal allocations of vaccine this week. The vaccine is only available to those currently eligible to receive it in the state.
