Northern NV getting more COVID-19 vaccine this week

Washoe County is getting more COVID-19 vaccine this week. It’s slated to receive more than 6,800 doses-an increase of 1,200 for all of northern Nevada. Nevada has received less vaccine than any other states, prompting Governor Steve Sisolak to pen a letter to the feds questioning the state’s vaccine allocation. The state Department of Health and Human Services, meantime, is warning that some vaccine deliveries could be delayed this week due to severe weather across the country.
