The start of the new legislative session looked different in Carson City. Swearing in ceremonies for new lawmakers Monday were subdued with no loved ones gathering. Lawmakers are also separated by Plexiglas. Committee meetings will be attended by lawmaker with testimony given via Zoom. Lawmakers, their staff, and members of the press covering the legislature will need to be COVID tested weekly in order to enter the building.
