Small businesses are getting a boost. South Lake Tahoe City Council approved two new programs that enable businesses to apply for up to $15,0000 in loans to keep them afloat, if they’ve sustained pandemic-related losses. Council members also approved $75,000 to the Tahoe Chamber’s small business gift card program that encourages people to buy gift cards that can be used at local businesses.
