Washoe Schools Superintendent Kristin McNeil and UNR President Brian Sandoval will both wait their respective turns to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports both say they won’t jump ahead of priority employees. UNR sent a survey to gauge interest to 2-thousand employees who are eligible to receive the vaccine under Tier 2. Washoe Schools staff got their first chance to be vaccinated Saturday-where about 500 employees rolled up their sleeves – that’s on top of school nurses and police officers who’ve already been vaccinated.
