Health officials are reporting a record 15 deaths, 168 new coronavirus cases and 134 recoveries in Washoe County on Wednesday. The 15 deaths ties for the most reported in one day that was set on Dec. 18 of last year. Renown Regional Medical Center will begin vaccinating residents 70 and older starting Thursday, Jan. 14. In partnership with the Washoe County Health District, Renown will help distribute the vaccine while supplies last. The vaccine will only be given out to those who have an appointment.
