South Lake Tahoe released from stay-at-home orders

South Lake Tahoe residents are no longer under stay-at-home orders. The area, which is part of the Greater Sacramento Region, was released from orders after hospital capacity stabilized. ICU capacity there is now at 19 percent-above the 15 percent threshold. This moves South Lake Tahoe back into the purple tier on the COVID-19 risk dial, meaning restaurants, wineries and breweries operate outdoors, hair salons, barbershops, and personal care services can operate indoors with restrictions.
