Washoe County adds nine new COVID-19 deaths for a total of 372. All but one of the persons had underlying health conditions. The county added nearly 200 cases and 130 recoveries. 284 persons are now hospitalized with the virus. December is on-track to be the deadliest month Washoe County has seen since the pandemic started. From December 1st through December 13th, 85 people have died from the virus this month.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. The first doses of COVID-19 vaccine are arriving in northern Nevada. Washoe County received 3,665 initial doses.
