South Lake Tahoe city manager tells people to stay home ‘so we can get back to normal’

It’s a new year unlike any other…South Lake Tahoe for the first time isn’t preparing for the SnowGlobe Music festival–it and all other New Year’s Eve festivities have been canceled due to COVID-19. South Lake Tahoe is adding enforcement with help from the California Highway Patrol for New Year’s Eve. The area remains under a stay-at-home order and non-essential motel stays are forbidden. City Manager Joe Irvin encouraged folks to stay home and slow the spread so we can get back to normal.
