The return date to an in-person and hybrid learning model for Washoe County middle and high schools has been delayed two weeks to Jan. 19. The original return date was tentatively scheduled for Jan. 4. In a 5-2 decision, the Board of Trustees voted for the delay at their meeting Tuesday night. The decision affects the first two weeks of the second semester. A motion to move elementary schools to distance learning failed.
