Washoe County added three new COVID-19 deaths Sunday for a total of 317. All three persons had underlying medical conditions. They were men in their 70s and 80s and a woman in her 80s. The county added nearly 350 cases Sunday and 73 recoveries. More than 280 persons remain hospitalized with the virus in Washoe County.
Statewide, Nevada set a record Saturday with 3,200 new COVID-19 cases, marking only the second time the state has reported more than 3,000 cases in a single day. Overall, hospitalizations statewide rest at 1,739.
