Reno native Dawn Wells, who portrayed Mary Ann on the 1960s sitcom “Gilligan’s Island,” died Wednesday in Los Angeles of complications related to COVID-19. She was 82. Wells was also Miss Nevada in the 1959 Miss America pageant.
