A wildfire burning across the state line has closed U.S. 395 from Bridgeport to the Nevada state line. The Mountain View Fire, burning in Walker Canyon, spans between 4,000 and 5,000 acres and is spreading uncontrollably, with help from winds, according to firefighters. It’s already burned multiple structures. Crews say it was sparked by a downed power line.
