We knew voter turnout surpassed records before the polls even open Tuesday-but we’re getting a better handle on just how many voted.. More than 232,000 voters in Washoe County cast a ballot either by mail or in-person in the 2020 general election. That number is expected to rise even further as more ballots continue to be counted. That puts turnout at nearly 77 percent.
