Police say a man who was shot and killed in Lovelock was in the process of burglarizing a vehicle. Police found the man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen Tuesday night at 6th Street and Dartmouth Avenue. Witnesses tell police the vehicle’s owner and two others confronted the burglar–who tried to grab their gun, and was fatally shot. No arrests have been made, but the shooting remains under investigation.
