Washoe County Voting Set a Record

The all-time Washoe County voter turnout record was broken in the 2020 general election, according to preliminary figures from the registrar’s office. Helped by the widespread availability of mail voting, Washoe County turnout surpassed 81%, the highest mark in recorded history and the first time turnout exceeded 80%.
