Lines reported at some polling places in Washoe Co.

Long lines are being reported at some polling places in Washoe County as thousands cast their ballot in-person today, but in some places estimated wait times are actually turning out to be shorter. Fifteen Washoe County schools are serving as polling places. More than 1.1 million have already cast their ballots by mail in Nevada. The state is considered a key battleground state in the presidential race. Also on the ballot Republican Mark Amodei is aiming to keep his congressional seat in northern Nevada. He’s up against Democrat Patricia Ackerman. The polls in Nevada are open until 7 p.m.
