A man from Fernley is killed in a single-vehicle wreck on I-80. It happened at 2 a.m. near mile marker 42. Police say a pick-up truck was heading east when it struck a light pole and flipped. The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
