Businesses may close and hospitals may need to adopt “crisis standards” that include care rationing if the coronavirus continues to spread at current rates in Nevada. In a news conference Wednesday, Gov. Steve Sisolak said, “I don’t care who says it: We are not rounding the corner,” Anyone who says to the contrary is lying. They’re trying to intentionally deceive people and have them let their guard down. We cannot let that happen.” As the pandemic surges, Sisolak said more painstaking choices are likely unless Nevada commits to steps like mask-wearing and social distancing.
