Nearly 300 thousand ballots were mailed to Washoe County voters Monday as elections officials sent off the vast majority of ballots one month ahead of the 2020 election. County registrar Deanna Spikula said 294,732 ballots were mailed Monday after Assembly Bill 4, passed in the legislative special session, required ballots be sent to all active voters. Over 4,000 ballots will be sent today to newly registered voters or voters who recently changed their voter information. Ballots will continue to be sent out through October 15
