Earlier Sunday, South Lake Tahoe Police responded to a domestic disturbance where 24-year-old Alan Martinez was holding a woman hostage at gunpoint.
Martinez threw his pistol and rifle ammunition out a window as he tried to escape. An AK-47 rifle with a loaded magazine was found in the yard, hidden amongst children’s toys.
