The Creek Fire, burning in the Sierra National Forest, has grown tremendously; it now spans more than 212,000 acres. The fire, south of Yosemite, is just 10 percent contained. At least 55 homes have been destroyed and thousands remain at risk. A dense smoke advisory remains in effect for northern Washoe County, forcing distance learning again Tuesday.
