All Washoe County and Douglas County VALLEY school students will be distance learning today. However, officials say Zephyr Cove Elementary and George Whittell High School will have ‘”In-Person Learning” today. The National Weather Service says the air quality is not safe for students to attend class in-person. Officials say the smoke is expected to linger in the area longer than expected.
