The first day of school for Washoe County School District begins on Monday, August 17. Before that, more than 11,000 Washoe County students are in need of computers, according to the Education Alliance of Washoe County. With the high demand for electronic devices, the education alliance says they are now accepting cash donations or gently-used computers to fill the gap.
