Washoe County School Board member Scott Kelley has resigned after allegations surrounding his divorce became public and the board chairman urged him to step down. Kelley, who also works as a spokesman for the Nevada Department of Corrections, said in a statement Thursday he made the decision to resign from his second term “after personal reflection and with a heavy heart.”
