Nevada’s attorney general is pushing that Edith’s Bill be included in COVID-19 relief legislation passed by the Congress. Edith’s Bill aims to amend the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 and make victims of senior fraud eligible for reimbursement. Attorney General Aaron Ford says seniors are particularly vulnerable during the pandemic and have become the target of scams.
