The city of Sparks is slapped with a lawsuit over a fatal police-involved shooting. The parents of 18-year-old Miciah Lee filed the lawsuit, claiming excessive force, negligence, and wrongful death. Lee’s shooting in January of 2020 was justified by the DA’s office in June, after investigators say Lee tried to grab a gun during a struggle with officers.
