The Reno Fire Department (RFD) says just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning they received a call about a house fire in the area of Zinfandel Drive. They say when crews arrived the house was 30 percent involved, including the front porch.
RFD says the fire quickly spread to the attic as well and is considered a total loss. The resident of the house was not at home when it ignited but was the person to report it.
