Bars sue over Sisolak’s second shutdown

Bars are expressing frustration that they’re being shut down a second time by Governor Steve Sisolak’s orders as COVID-19 spreads. They’re getting creative by offering curbside bottled cocktails to-go. But more than three dozen have filed a lawsuit against the state, claiming the second shutdown violates their rights. The state has declined comment.

Fireworks likely sparked south Reno brush fire, firefighters say

Reno firefighters say fireworks likely sparked a small brush fire in south Reno. They were called to an area outside the Verge Apartments Tuesday night. They say the fire burned about a quarter-acre.
