The North Virginia Street bridge over I-80 will close near UNR’s campus starting tomorrow. The five-week closure is part of the RTC’s $87 million Virginia Street project that’s aimed at improving safety and enhancing transit service in the area. Northbound drivers and pedestrians will be detoured to Center Street via Maple Street while those heading southbound can use Sierra Street via 9th Street.
