A doctor scheduled to testify in the case, who lives in Martinez Guzman’s native El Salvador can’t travel here due to the pandemic. Both D-As want to pursue the death penalty, but Martinez-Guzman’s attorneys argue his IQ may prove he’s intellectually disabled-pulling the death penalty off the table.
