One person is dead and more than a dozen hurt after a fire in midtown Reno. It broke out at 5:30 a.m. Monday on Broadway Boulevard. The roof of the building is completely gone with several upper units destroyed. Thirteen people have a variety of injuries, including smoke inhalation and burns. Some animals also died in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
