Voter turnout estimated at 22.5%, so far, in Washoe County

Early numbers show voter turnout in the state’s primary in Washoe County to be at about 22.5 percent. Much of the voting was done by mail-in due to coronavirus. But the polls are open until 7 p.m. for those wishing to cast a ballot in person. For the first time, you could also register to vote at the polls.
